Experimental Particle Physics

Participation in large scale experiments: IceCube (South Pole), ATLAS (CERN, Geneva), AUGER (Argentina), CALICE (DESY, Hamburg), KASKADE-Grande/LOPES (FZ Karlsruhe) and CBM (FAIR, Darmstadt). Involvement in project for data analysis and detector construction (ATLAS pixel detector, radio antennas). Intensive international contacts for ATLAS, AUGER and IceCube. The University of Wuppertal is in a research network for GRID-computing.
