The studies begin from the Block course on mathematical foundation. It is an essential part of the curriculum, which is intended to proof your bachelor´s knowledge and your abilities to continue with more complicated studies:

The block course exam on mathematical foundations (ungraded coursework) is part of the curriculum. Passing the exam is compulsory for all students.
Attendance of the block course is strongly recommended.

05.12.2025 (repetition exam): Room L.11.22

CSiS Welcome Meeting
There is traditionally the Welcome Meeting organized on the first regular lection by Prof. Francesco Knechtli together with the representatives of the International Office and Student´s Council, where all new CSiS students can ask about anything they are interested for regarding the study process, registration, everyday life and other aspects of their stay and education in the University of Wuppertal.
In winter semester 2025/2026 the Welcome Meeting was held on October 20th, 2025. Here is the presentation from the event:
