Computer Simulation in Science

On this page we have collected all the necessary information about the examinations within Computer Simulation in Science Master's Programme.

Description of the Examinations

Examinations can have different formats (e.g. oral, written, electronic etc.) and can be evaluated differently. There are exams without the grade, so called "Unbenotete Studienleistung (ubSL)". They are part of your studies, but evaluated only as "passed" or "not passed".
The other type of exams is exam with grade. They are evaluated by the adopted scale, where the lowest grade is 5.0 and the highest is 1.0. More details about the grading system are in the Exam Regulations, § 13, Section 5-e and § 16:

Examination Regulations

The programme consists of 4 semester, one semester equals to ≈30 ECTS credits (LP). To proceed to the 4th semester, when you will write your Master's Thesis, you need to achieve 70 ETCS, including the successful passing of the mandatory courses CSim1, CSim3 as well as at least one specialization module. For CFM this module is fixed to CFM1.
