Feedback Session
It is very important for us to hear about your CSiS experience! That´s why we organize the regular annual Feedback Session for students of the 1st and higher semesters. This academic year it will take place on January 19th, 2026. The place of the event is D.10.08, the time is 14:30 for the 1st year students and 15:30 for students of higher semesters. We ask you to prepare all questions and complaints you have for this event. Your personal data will be treated fully anonymous.
Besides the Feedback Session event, you can always complete the survey, where you can anonymously provide your opinion and comments about your studies and experience in CSiS, University of Wuppertal and Germany in whole:
Presentation of Specializations
We invite all first-semester CSiS students to attend the presentation of specializations! It will take place on Monday, February 2nd, 2026 at 10:00 in the Room D.10.08. Responsible persons for all CSiS specializations will tell you more details about their fields of research, and you will have an additional opportunity to ask all your questions!
Registration is not necessary. Attendance is highly recommended.
DESY Summer Student Programme 2026
We would like to draw your attention to the DESY Summer Student Programme 2026, which will take place from July 21st to September 10th, 2026.
As every year, students from all over the world are invited to take part in DESY's research activities. A broad range of projects is offered in particle and astroparticle physics at DESY Hamburg and Zeuthen, covering topics such as accelerators, detectors, software development, physics data analysis, theory, and computing.
In addition, the programme includes a lectures series, campus tours, and social events. Participating students recive a salary as well as free accommodation at the DESY Hostel.
